Sad times. So apparently "This Page Has Been Quarantined" by Itch.io automatic system (again) I am not sure why they keep doing it. As they never tell me that its flagged or why its flagged I find out when I release a new game and the community tell me. Its just Itch.io that have false flagged my site (again)
Hello Max. I am huge follower of yours and have the same issue with my game. I have no idea why it is happening and it saddens me to be honest. I contacted the support and it has been 2 days - no answer. I know how much fan your are as well, always playing my games and I am fully supporting you man. Chin up and stay safe friend!
Im sorry to hear you experience this too. I believe its their bot that is not very effective. Last time this happened to me they said it was a mistake from their auto matic system. Its annoying cause all and any momentum a game might have on this site, is long gone before they resolve this. And yes support is days and weeks on answering. write up your story here as well, so they can see its a problem.
Just a heads up to the dev (who likely already knows) and others, when I try to download this game a popup says:
"WARNING: This Page Has Been Quarantined
Our system has flagged this page for additional review due to potential suspicious behavior from the page owner...
we don't recommend downloading this file until our team has reviewed the page."
Never seen this warning before before on Itch. I've played games by this dev before, so it's probably fine, but I'll hold off downloading the game until that warning is removed. It may just false positive on Itch's end, but might as well wait to see.
Thanks for the heads up. NO I don't know this, I never get told by Itch.io if there is anything going on, this thing happened last time I released another game too. And after a week or so Support reached out to me and said it was a mistake from their automatic system. So I guess it is flagged again. I have reached out to Support but I don't expect an answer anytime soon......
Thanks for the response and for contacting support about it. It's crazy that they don't inform the dev when one of their games gets flagged. I hope support fixes it quickly this time. Sounds like they probably won't, but you never know. Thanks again!
Nice this was excellent short game I liked it and the TV turning around remind me Madison where also can turn TV around and that game was really scary one anyway well done keep it up!
